About Paul

All of my staff benefit from a modern apprenticeship training. They are honest, trustworthy and genuinely interested in the profession they have chosen.

We are fully insured and fully trained in the use of all garden machinery. We supply our own tools - hand and mechanical (except sit-on tractors) - and fuel.

Paul Glide

I set up the business in 1985 having been born into an agricultural background. I am self taught with a passion for plants and have an advantage over other garden designers of having planted thousands of plants, watched them flourish and maintained them over the years.

I have laid out complete gardens and woodlands of several acres.

I have designed Vegetable areas, Borders, Rose Gardens and Parterres on both large and small scales.

I am married with 3 children, the youngest of whom is showing every sign of following in my footsteps, as this photo shows!

Thomas Brooks

Thomas joined Paul in 2001 after leaving school and has steadily worked his way through the apprenticeship. He has been taught a multitude of practical skills and garden knowledge.

Kevin Chippington

Kevin joined the team in 2002 after leaving school. He is hardworking and developing a sound knowledge of plants.
